Extra protection in the event of an accident

As a Co Wheels member, with every journey you drive with us, you will be covered by our fully comprehensive policy which covers personal and business use.

As per our amended Terms and Conditions, effective from 19th June 2024, if you have an accident that is your fault, there is an excess of £800* payable on cars and £1000 payable on vans.

*£1000 payable for drivers under 21.

Annual Collision Damage Waiver

To protect you in the case of an accident, we offer an optional collision damage waiver, which reduces the excess fee payable to £100. This is paid as an annual £100 payment which covers you for 12-months (up to 5 drivers on your account). This will automatically renew after 12 months unless cancelled before the end of the 12-month term. You will be notified 4-weeks before your CDW is due to renew.

Please note this payment can not be refunded if you close your membership. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

Monthly Collision Damage Waiver

NEW from 19th June 2024

Due to popular demand, we now offer a monthly payment option on our Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) for just £10 a month.

Your monthly CDW subscription will start on the date we take payment and have confirmed via email that we have accepted your application for CDW. Your CDW will be applied to your account and will continue month-to-month unless you cancel it according to our Terms and Conditions.
