If you have App Unlock-enabled cars near you, you can drive immediately after being approved
Smartcards can take up to a week to arrive —almost there!

Am I eligible to join as a Member?
As long as you are over the age of 19, have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months, you are eligible to join Co Wheels. However, please be aware that some further restrictions may apply:
- If you are aged 25 or under, you must possess a clean licence, with 0 points or endorsements.
- Applicants over the age of 26 must have no more than 6 points issued on their driving licence.
- If you have been disqualified from driving at any point, you are not eligible for membership.
- If you have been involved in 2 or more accidents within the last 3 years, you are not eligible for membership.
- If you have had theft claims in the last three years.
- If you are a professional sportsperson, model, itinerant worker or member of the entertainment profession.
Drivers that are NOT eligible to become members due to our insurance:
- Provisional licence holders.
- Drivers aged under 19 years
- Drivers aged 24 or under when the vehicle being hired has a seating capacity of nine or more, in addition to the driver's seat.
- Drivers with more than 6 points
- Drivers who have held a licence for less than 12 months
- Drivers under the age of 25, postcode restrictions may apply
Drivers with the following convictions on their licences will also NOT be eligible to join as they cannot be covered through our insurance:
UT50; CD30; CD40; CD50; CD60; CD70; CD71; DD40; DD60; DD80; DR10; DR20; DR30; DR31; DR40; DR50; DR60; DR61; DR70; DR80 or DR90.
