Verify your bank cards
March 10th, 2022
Banking rules are changing to make online card payments more secure to cut down on fraud, which means you need to take action to verify your cards so your payments to Co Wheels still go through.
To meet these new rules on Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), we must make sure your card is securely checked to ensure it is valid. Unless you authenticate active cards on your account then your payments may fail, which means you will not be able to book cars.
Verify your bank card now - log into your account first and then use this link https://book.co-wheels.org.uk/3ds
Our new system goes live on Sunday, 13th March 2022, so look for an email from us giving details to log into your Co Wheels account so you can authenticate cards. No payment will be taken and – depending on your bank and their systems – all steps to authenticate your cards should happen in your bank’s secure portal.
This is best done on a computer or on a smartphone in a web browser – you will not be able to do it via our app. We strongly recommend you do this now to avoid failed payments rather than wait until you need to book a car, just in case you have verification problems with your bank.
Look out for our email on Sunday afternoon and please ensure you only do this via logging into your Co Wheels account and your bank’s verification system.
