60 award winning MG4 electrics join our fleet

April 26th, 2023

Co Wheels are updating our electric fleet with the latest award-winning MG4 family hatchbacks.

We have 60 of the new five door, five seat electrics, half of them are already on the streets and the rest will be rolled out by the summer. The MG4 has been hailed as one of the best new electric cars on the market, winning the UK Car of the Year award and a host of other titles.

In bigger locations such as Glasgow, Bristol and Oxford they will be replacing older Renault Zoe and BMW i3 electrics which have more limited range and less passenger and boot space.

But you can also find the new MGs across the country in many brand new and existing locations, including:

  • Abingdon, Oxfordshire
  • Banbury, Oxfordshire
  • Bristol
  • Elgin, Moray
  • Eynsham, Oxfordshire
  • Falkirk, Stirlingshire
  • Gateshead, Tyne & Wear
  • Glasgow
  • Henley, Oxfordshire
  • Orkney – Kirkwall and Stromness on Mainland
  • Oxford
  • Perth, Perthshire
  • Wantage, Oxfordshire
  • Wallingford, Oxfordshire

The MG4s have a range of around 200 miles in mixed driving or about 160 miles at motorway speeds. As well as the coveted UK Car of the Year title, the MG4 has picked up many awards from readers and car reviewers including:

  • What Car – Best Small Electric Car
  • Top Gear – Bargain of the Year
  • DrivingElectric – Best Value Electric Car, Car of the Year, Reader’s Favourite Electric Car
  • Electrifying.com – Best Small Family Car, Best Value Car, Car of the Year
  • carwow – Car of the Year
  • Scottish Car of the Year Awards – Best EV under £40,000

Look out for announcements as we roll out the other 30 cars, plus we also have eight new MG5 electric estates in the pipeline.

The MG4 is packed with the latest features and does not need a key or button to start it. To see our guide on the MG4 and all our electric cars check out our website here.
