Pay a one-off fee to join the club, and a £5 monthly minimum spend.
Hire cars by the hour (in 15 minute increments), plus a small mileage fee.

The average car is only used an hour a day - so why pay when you aren't using it?
How much does it cost to hire a car?
When is payment taken?
Hire time charge for the duration of the booking is taken 2 hours before the start time.
Mileage is calculated at the end of the hire, and any fees are taken within 24hours of the end time.
Hire charges are priced per hour (in 15 minute increments), per day, or overnight, plus a small mileage fee for non-electric cars. All prices include VAT.

*Charging electric cars: Co-wheels electric cars have a dedicated charge post within their bay. Other free posts are available across the country. Any charging undertaken at Ecotricity Electric Highway rapid chargers or other pay-to-use charge points is not covered by Co-wheels. Please plan your journey accordingly. How much does it cost to join?
For individuals this one-off fee pays for your application, smart card and welcome pack.
Organisations also need to set up a driver.

What if I cancel my booking?
We understand that sometimes your plans will change, so we offer flexible charges for cancelled bookings.
If you cancel your booking...

Are there any other charges?
|Penalty charges||Up to £25|
|If you don't follow the rules and your behaviour causes another member inconvenience, you may be charged a penalty. (e.g. returning a car late, leaving the car messy). We usually charge penalties as a last resort.|
|Replacement smart card||£5|
|If you lose your smart card we may charge you for a replacement.|
|If we are unable to process a payment, we may charge you a fee.|
|Including congestion fees and parking fines.|
What if I have an accident?
Should you be unlucky enough to have an accident which is deemed to be you fault, you are liable to be charged an insurance excess of £600 if you are aged 22 or over, or £750 for members aged 21 or under. This can be reduced to an excess of £100 with a Collision Damage Waiver fee of £5 a month which covers up to 5 drivers on your account - for more details and to apply click here.
