Job title: Customer Service Advisor (based in Central Newcastle upon Tyne)

Hours: 40hrs per week

Salary: from £22,724 pa

Holiday entitlement:  25 days per annum, plus Bank Holidays 

Reporting to:  Customer Experience Manager

The Role

If you are a confident and professional, customer-focused individual you could be the perfect candidate to join our small Customer Service Team. Working in a fast-paced environment, the right candidate will have a key role to play within our organisation, ensuring we provide the very best levels of customer service to our 30,000 Co Wheels members. Our chosen applicant will have the support they need to gain new skills as part of our passionate, purposeful and friendly team. The position available is part of a Rota.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained, and when required, have the confidence to deal with customer issues professionally and calmly.
  • Respond to customer enquiries via chat, telephone and via email in a polite and professional manner that reflects our brand.
  • Effectively manage customer complaints.
  • Membership processing and general input
  • Co Wheels is a growing and dynamic business and therefore your duties may vary into other areas of the business on occasion.

The ideal candidate:

  • Customer Service experience from retail, hospitality, leisure or a call centre environment is desired but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external people alike.
  • A flexible approach to work and shift patterns to meet the needs of the business.
  • A good knowledge of IT programs and be comfortable using different software programs.
  • A passion for delivering an excellent customer experience and finding the best outcome for our members.

Hours: 40 per week (Shifts 8am-6pm or 10am-8pm on Rota basis)

Experience:

  • Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
