New electric vehicle fleet in Oxford

Co-wheels is introducing a fleet of ten new electric cars into Oxford as part of a major project to install 100 new charging posts on the city's streets.

Co-wheels is a key partner in the trial which is thought to be the first on-street charging pilot of its size in the world, and the University of Oxford has described the project as having “global scientific significance”.

2017 pricing review

Co-wheels has not had a price increase since January 2016 but in that time a lot of our major costs such as car leasing and insurance have risen above the rate of inflation.

We know any price rise is never welcome news but to keep the car club sustainable we need to ensure we cover running costs which have increased in the past 20 months.
