The UK’s only independent national car club triumphed over larger corporations in the sector to be awarded Car Club of the Year. The GreenFleet Awards recognise organisations in the motoring sector for their contribution to greener road transport and environmental fleet management.

Co-wheels was shortlisted for the Fleet Supplier of the Year award for 2016, thanks to our proven ability to provide alternative fleet services for business, and helping to reduce carbon emissions, grey fleet mileage and costs, and fleet management services.

Social Enterprise UK shortlisted Co-wheels for the Environmental Social Enterprise of the Year award for 2016, which is given to social enterprises which have a proven environmental impact and sustainability in terms of profit and growth.

Co Wheels won the award in recognition of our efforts to offer lower CO₂ models and incorporate a robust environmental policy into present and future car club operations.

Co Wheels were shortlisted in this category which looked at the UK private sector organisation that can demonstrate a reduction in CO₂ and other pollutants through fuel efficiency programmes, green fleet management and driver awareness training.
